I've been to quite a few ghost hunts with different groups in the past and decided to book with Pitch Black after watching their live videos for ages. We went to the North East Air Museum and had a really good night. pitch black were a really fun, down to earth group to go with. Shannon even let my daughter wear her coat as it was really cold and also gave her a set of hand warmers ☺️. We had a really good time and will definitely book with pitch black again

First time ghost hunting with pitch black and an experience I’ll never forget for all the right reasons. Well organised and super friendly people, who made us feel welcome straight away. Loved doing experiments we had never tried before and the table tipping wow I’ve never seen anything like it. Shannon and Gary led the group brilliantly, things got pretty intimate 😂😂. Apologies for my fits of giggles at the end, but toilet humour gets me every time! We will be joining you again, cheers Glenda 😂😂😉😉

First time investigating with you guys and it wont be the last had a fantastic night still cant get over the woman screaming which i heard numerous times with different people i even heard a male mumbling away for a while about 4:40 am while trying to get to sleep we were in room 12 dont know if anyone else heard this seemed to be in corridor but noone there amazing night and im going canoeing tomorrow 😂 i also seen a shadow in the window from the carpark pre investigation when i took a photo there was no shadow but a face could be just paradolia tho untill the next time happy hunting👻👻

Had a class time here last night, our groups regular visitors to Chillingham Castle so were looking forward to something a bit different, (plus its a 5 min walk from mine) plenty of bizarre noises, taps, bangs, coughs and whistles, along with some excellent figures on the SLS camera, great team leading and highly recommended!!

Had a great night last Friday with these guys. very professional and friendly ghost hunt team who provide plenty of opportunities to connect with the spirits in various ways. I won a competition through their Facebook page which was a great surprise and a lovely chance for my friend and I to give pitch black a go. very glad we had the chance and will definitely go to another one of their events. thanks so much.

Had another fantastic night at Jedburgh Jail with Pitch Black Investigations. Been with them 3 times now and every time they’ve made everyone feel welcome and are great to hunt with, very friendly husband & wife team. There is plenty gadgets to use and activities to do over the four hours your locked down in the jail. I wished we’d used more of the gadgets but I think we got carried away with the activity we were getting we were forgetting to use them 👻 I’m a bit sore today after mine and Laura’s fall out of the condemned cell, was a creepy weird moment and I’m glad Laura recovered okay but still can’t believe we witnessed the door open on its own and also the other two doors opening. I was also poked in the stomach as did other people get poked. Doors were heard opening all the time and voices being heard. Was a fantastic night of activity, the most to date and I’ve been here a lot over the last few years with different groups but will always want to come back with Carrie and Steve of Pitch Black, thanks again x👻👻

29/2/2020 .. visit to Chillingham Castle, made very welcome by our hosts who explained the process of the night. Went around a few areas within the Castle in small groups, Great Hall and Edward room provided a lot of significant evidence, it was a very windy night and we believe some of what we heard was due to the wind ( creaks, banging) but there was definitely evidence that there was no rationalisation for, for example the extremely heavy tables moving ( titling/lifting/shaking). Took many photos, nothing on them apart from one .. 2 distinct purple hazes, upon closer inspection .. 2 faces, this was taken in the Great Hall. In the chapel I experienced a unexplainable phenomenon which strengthened my belief system.
Refreshments were provided, which were very welcome as it was extremely cold. I definitely recommend booking with Pitch Black.. we will be looking at doing a different venue with them in the future.
